About Us

KHIDMA New Zealand is a charitable trust established in November 2023 by six like-minded professionals from New Zealand’s Muslim community. United by a passion for faith-inspired service and community development, the founding members created KHIDMA to promote the welfare, education, and spiritual well-being of both Muslims and non-Muslims interested in learning about Islam and its universal values.

The name KHIDMA (Arabic: خدمة) means “service”, and it embodies our core purpose:

“Service to God, People, and the Environment.”
